CORTIJO of approximately 400m2 built on a plot of approximately 15500m2, much of which is clear of trees, is on a gentle slope and affords wonderful long-ranging views across the rolling hills of olives.

Situated to the north-east of Antequera and minutes from local villages which include Iznajar, Villanueva de Algaidas, Villanueva de Tapia. To the east it is approximately 20/25 minutes from the property to main A92 autovia at Salinas. Salinas is located approximately 35 minutes from the city of Granada and a little over 20 minutes from Granada airport - Malaga airport it is approximately one hour. Ideal location for touring the Subettica National Park.

This large property was once three houses, each with a main house structure plus a few small outbuildings - each house still has its own entrance and there are no interconnecting doors at present to communicate from one house to another. There are 31 rooms in total (including outbuilding rooms), 1 tiled shower-room and basic kitchen facilities. In one house, certain rooms have been decorated and are reasonably habitable - this is where the shower-room is located and house roofs are not in too bad a condition.

This is a large venture and not for the faint-hearted and, for the most part, the main structure is not in too bad a condition - it is by no means in a ruinous condition - part of the main building and outbuilding have been reconstructed in brick. It would not be too difficult a task to totally integrate the three houses into one very large splendid cortijo by reconstructing the whole 400m2, thus ending up with a large family home or, perhaps converting parts of the property into letting accommodation.

Approached down a track from the country lane through the olives, there is private access onto the land and ample parking before the property which is situated on the edge of the land. One immediately approaches house 1 and, travelling clockwise, description of the three houses is as follows:

House 1: To the front of House 1 is an outbuilding of approximately 24m2 across from which is the entrance to the house. Entrance into Room 1, which is a basic kitchen, approx 3.31m x 3.25m with corner chimney, room 2, at present a lounge with wonderful large, painted tree-trunk timbers approx 5.05m x 2.56m, room 3, at present a bedroom approx 2.63m x 2.09m and shower-room approx 1.69m x 1.60m. On the Upper Level are room 1 approx 3.16m x 2.41m with timber and cane roof and room 2 approx 4.28m x 3.07m - also at this level is an inaccessible room approx 2.63m x 2.09m.

To the left of this property is a stone staircase which rises to a low loft approx 5.63m x 2.53m.

Travel round to the right to:

House 2: Front patio off which is a tiled toilet approx 1.78m x 1.13m, work-room with corner fireplace approx 2.76m x 1.94m, room below the low loft (mentioned previously) is a room approx 5.63m x 2.53m and entrance into the house and room 1 approx 4.35m x 3.23m with suspended ceiling, room 2, a basic kitchen, approx 2.04m x1.78m with chimney canopy and on the upper floor are room 1 approx 2.67m x 2.61m with panelled ceiling, room 2 approx 4.67m x 2.61m, room 3 approx 3.16m x 2.62m, room 4 approx 2.95m x 2.70m and above, room 5 approx 5.11m x 2.87m extending to approx 3.36m x 2.87m and room 6, a low loft, approx 2.95m x 2.94m. To the side of this property, travelling round the corner, is an outbuilding approx 3.43m x 3m and round the next corner, to the front of the third house is a detached outbuilding approx 24m2. Across from this outbuilding is the third house which faces the same direction as House 1:

House 3: Room 1 with suspended ceiling approx 3.17m x 2.42m, room 2 approx 3.63m x 3.56m, room 3 approx 2.89m x 1.80m, room 4 approx 3.15m x 2.83m. On the upper level are room 1 approx 4.39m x 3.61m, room 2 approx 3.93m x 3.72m, room 3 approx 3.95m x 2.11m.
