DETACHED CORTIJO FOR RESTORATION of approximately 100m2 at present, on a plot of approximately 25000m2, in the hills south of the A92 autovia close to the village of SALAR, with the most magnificent long-ranging views. Throughout the property are timbered ceilings and alcove features - typical of others within the area. The land is laid out with olives which, at present, produce around 15000 kilos per annum (on a good season) - some trees are quite young and this would yield far more in a good year with continued growth.
On the site is a very large catchment water deposit for irrigation purposes. There is a local co-operative for water a short distance away in the valley below - likewise electricity. On the hill at the edge of the land is a natural spring for use by local cortijos and the current owner has water deposits gravity fed. Advice would be given on alternatives for water or power.
Cortijo layout - Entrance Room 1 approx 3.37m x 3.07m, through to room 2 with soil floor approx 4.02m x 2.12m in which there is a wooden mezzanine loft approx 7m x 2.12m, room 3 approx 3.08m x 2.17m and staircase - this is the ground floor within the building of the house.
On the Upper Floor of the house is room 1 approx 4.18m x 3.82m and room 2 approx 3.88m x 2.29m.
To the left hand side of the house are three rooms in tact - approx 3.39m x 2.54m, 2.54m x 1.78m and 3m x 2.90m plus a fourth room which is now a ruin approx 5m x 1.90m.
Approximately 15 minutes from two nearest villages but not isolated as there are other cortijos in the area.
